Item Description
An impressive, sharply and steeply terminated gem spodumene crystal from the 2010 finds at this well-known locale. One-third of the waxy luster striated crystal at the base of steep termination is a pretty light pink with the rest of the crystal being a subtle light lavender. The C-axis shot reveals the two colors to better advantage. The steep termination is pristine. The long edge is cleaved, but you barely notice it in the display view on the engraved lucite base, valued at $145 and included, for free. Highly representative and excellent, gem-quality cutter material from this find, that was featured in the first 2011 issue of Rocks & Minerals. 155 grams mass.
