Item Description
Glamorous single crystal of a transparent, intense lilac-colored, gemmy Kunzite from Mawi Pegmatite, Afghanistan. The blocky crystal measures 2.6 cm thick and is double terminated with a classic chisel tip showing some etching on one end with an etched basal termination. There is minor pitting on one surface and a contact present on the opposite side. The color is elevated from most through the side view while the "c" axis view is a superior vibrant lilac color. A beautiful Kunzite specimen with an exceptional color quality. The piece has a strong orange fluorescence under UV. Mass is 168 grams. Ex. Jack Halpern Collection No. 2343.
