Item Description

A lovely gemmy Kunzite crystal from Afghanistan. This piece has a beautiful soft pinkish-purple hue, and if you look at down the "c" axis of the prism, it shows a stronger purple hue. The piece is etched, creating a complete "floater" specimen with no sign of attachment anywhere. The form and gemminess make this piece a great example from this most prolific gem producing region. A very attractive representation of this classic material. It's important to note that good crystallized Kunzites are literally only found in a few places on earth (Brazil, San Diego County and Afghanistan) in any real quantity. Specimen weight is 50 grams.
