Spodumene (rare USA locale!) & Quartz (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

Sharply terminated spodumene crystals are rare from this well-known pegmatite. A 3.4 cm, spearpoint blade is aesthetically frozen in granular quartz matrix. Adding much pizzazz, the back and base of the piece are broken spodumene sections. The dinged edge on the blade has very minimal impact to the quality and rarity of this fine piece. It displays great without aid. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and according to his label, from the Frank W. Hess Collection, an associate of the famous Art Montgomery, who once owned the mine. Value??
