Matrix triphane specimens of this quality are quite rare from Nuristan, as the miners usually break them off of the matrix, as they are much easier to collect. A water-clear, gem, tabular crystal with fine light yellow-green color has waxy luster with a lightly etched termination. The triphane is very jauntily attached to the pearlescent fragment of a sharp microcline crystal. Complete all-around and pristine. A rare and choice matrix triphane spodumene of this size range. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. It is worth more today, with the ongoing conflict and reduced production here.
