Item Description
A classic example of the famous Spodumene crystals from Afghanistan. Some of the finest gem quality crystals of Spodumene ever found have come from this area. This piece features a rather gemmy, soft yellowish-pink colored, lustrous, prismatic, doubly-terminated crystal with minor associated Albite at the base. There is a smaller secondary Spodumene running along side the larger crystal, which is also doubly-terminated. The terminations are slightly etched, but still distinct and eye-catching. No damage that I can find. A good representative piece of this famous material.
