Spodumene is only known from a few localities around the world in good gem quality crystals. Afghanistan has been a great source of pink, green and yellow gem Spodumeme for a few decades, and remains one of the best producers of the material today. This specimen is a good quality, VERY gemmy, soft yellow prismatic etched crystal with only minor rough edges. Valued at $900.
