Spodumene

Item Description

This is a sparkling, transparent, gemmy bi-colored loose floater spodumene crystal with double terminations. Most of the glassy gem crystal displays a delicate light pastel pink hue (kunzite), while the rest transitions to yellow and nearly colorless areas. The steeply offset kunzite termination is both impressive and beautiful, showcasing the crystal’s natural elegance. Interestingly, some of these crystals deepen in pink color when exposed to sunlight for a few days. While this specimen boasts the high-quality characteristics typical of Afghan spodumene, it is a rare and historic piece from the USA, making it a unique and desirable addition to any collection.
