Item Description
Spinel specimens are RARE from any Ontario locality and are extremely rare from this obscure locality. Splendent, sharp, jet-black, octahedral crystals to 5 mm are peppered on both sides of the matrix and are attractively complimented by the patches snow-white calcite. Probably older material, but no proof. A must for the species or locality collector.
