Item Description
Spinel is another gem that comes in a great range of colors. Most people are familiar with the Ruby Spinels, but a large percentage of Spinels out there are not red. This is an attractive stone with a very distinct yet unusual golden-orange color. The stone has good clarity as well, with only very slight inclusions, and a "Step Oval" cut. The stone is very attractive for a Spinel, and is not a "grey" shade whatsoever. It is difficult to find superb quality Spinels nowadays because they're usually very dark (almost black) or very included. Due to the political upheaval in southeast, it appears that these stones will soon be very very hard to come across and the days of the good Spinels may be dwindling.
