Item Description

The famous mines at Chanarcillo, Chile produced a rich array of beautiful silver-related species. This aesthetic "feather" of an elongated, spinel-twinned silver crystal is a classic Chanarcillo habit. A nifty cleft runs the length of the crystal, separating the twins and one end of the crystal is accented with tiny barbs. The ball of attached matrix is fine compliment. Undoubtably century-old material, but no proof. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. A classic and excellent thumbnail.
