Item Description
A aesthetic nest of spinel-twinned silver crystals is jauntily perched atop the matrix of calcite and spongy silver on this showy, two-sided specimen from this old silver mine. Some crystals are brightly burnished, some have an acanthite coating and you can see small crude acanthite crystals scattered about. Very aesthetic! From a small 2004 find. These are the finest Spanish silvers found in around 100 years. The piece displays wells without aid. Valued at $250.
