Item Description
A rich nest of spinel-twinned silver crystals covers the top of the wedge of calcite matrix on this very fine and showy, specimen from this old silver mine. Most of the crystals have an acanthite coating, a few crystals are brightly burnished and there are many crude acanthite crystals. Very aesthetic! From a small 2004 find. These are the finest Spanish silvers found in around 100 years. Valued at $300-500.
