Item Description
A sculptural forest of spinel-twinned silver crystals rises up from the wedge of calcite matrix on this very fine and showy, two-sided specimen from this old silver mine. Some crystals are brightly burnished, some have an acanthite coating and you can see small crude acanthite crystals scattered about. Very aesthetic! From a small 2004 find. These are the finest Spanish silvers found in around 100 years. Valued at $300-500.
