Item Description
A superlative, sculptural thumbnail cluster of sharp, lustrous, arborescent, spinel-twinned, gold crystals from Venezuelan finds around 2007-2008. It looks like a Tyrannosaurus Rex with a long tail, large legs and an open mouth! These were sold as palladian gold, but analysis to date is inconclusive. See http://www.mindat.org/mesg-55-118936.html. Irregardless, this is a superb and uncommon small gold with amazing form!
