Item Description
Hope's Nose gold is an English classic noted for beautiful dendritic spinel-twins. This excellent and very rich specimen features an aesthetically angled vein of filagrees of dendritic and herringbone-patterned, spinel-twinned gold crystals on a sliver of quartz-rich brecciated matrix. The crystals are a rich, mellow gold color. More gold is visible on the back. Ex Howard Belsky Collection and comes with a early-1900s Krantz label. NOTE THIS IS FROM THE OLDER WORKINGS, AS CONFIRMED BY THE LABEL, AND NOT FROM THE MODERN NATIONAL PARK WHERE IT IS ILLEGAL TO COLLECT. Valued $1000
