Spinel-twinned Galena xls ex Obodda

Item Description

Intergrown, sharp, splendent, flattened, spinel-twinned galena crystals form a striking and sculptural two-sided specimen on this very showy specimen from the famous mines at Dal'negorsk. A bit of drusy siderite on the back side is a nice accent. Nearly pristine, with only a bit of bruising along the crest of the piece. The piece displays beautifully without aid. Choice and classic material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock and dates to the 1990s or early 2000s, when such fine specimens were coming out. Herb valued this at $400, over five years ago.
