Item Description

A geometrically fantastic thumbnail galena from this less well-known lead-zinc mine in Missouri's famous Viburnum Trend. A stunning 1.5 cm spinel-twin crowns the piece and rests on smaller spinel-twins and a dramatic single 1.0 cm cuboctahedron. The crystals have bright metallic-gray luster. Dolomite rhombs are a classic accent to this superlative cutie from a 2013 find in the Big Bear Orebody.
