Spinel-twinned Galena on Siderite

Item Description

A striking, highly sculptural, splendent metallic-gray, spinel-twinned galena crystal is very jauntily set on the well-shaped matrix of mostly sparkly, tiny, siderite crystals. The two-sided galena is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of hard-to-see bruising on a lower outer edge. There is no damage at the top, where a bit of siderite is noted. Very fine and aesthetic combination material from the famous mines at Dal'negorsk.
