Item Description

Truly an unusual, strikingly demarcated, combination specimen from the Krushev dol Mine. Half of the piece is splendent, metallic-gray, spinel-twinned galena crystals. EXACTLY half way across the spinel-twinned galena "wall", nearly all of the galena crystals and numerous quartz points are preferentially coated with rosettes of two-toned brown, bladed siderite rhombs. A few quartz points are broken, but have little impact on the dramatic, bifurcated quality of this fine combination specimen. Some unusual chemistry here!
