Item Description
Mineral specimens of ANY species are EXTREMELY RARE from this very obscure Chihuahua mine. A striking dense nest of oxide-coated herringbone-patterned spinel-twinned copper crystals is aesthetically set on the contrasting rhyolite matrix. The contrasting sugary, glassy accessory is fluorescent hyalite opal! RARE, perhaps UNIQUE combination copper from the Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection. Dave paid $350 for this in November, 2001. Valued today at $450-500. A MUST for the species or locality collector.
