Item Description
Dramatic sharply crystallized copper from a NEW FIND at this active open pit copper mine. This outstanding, very sculptural, tapered floater has a fine patina Three of the four sides of the artistic 360-degree piece have a striking backbone of spinel-twins, that are flanked by spinel-twins with interesting skeletal features. Scattered embedded green malachite is nice contrast and accessory. This exceptional cutie resembles classic crystallized coppers from Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, Arizona or Kazakhstan! Most specimens from the 2017 find had an arborescent shape, so these new pieces are dramatically different and exciting.
