Item Description

A fantastic looking large flattened copper from the famous Ray Mine. Striking, diverging, very long, spinel-twinned copper crystals are sculpturally filled in with smaller spinels. The "flag" at the top is most dramatic. The impressive "spines" to the large spinels, scattered bits of malachite and the bright coppery patina really add pizzazz to this very fine two-sided piece. The piece has been lightly cleaned, typical of most such coppers from these famous finds. Classic and outstanding Arizona copper valued at $1800. Older material.
