Item Description
From mid-2000s finds at the Itauz Mine, this is a floater (complete all around), very large, elegant spinel-twinned crystal with wonderful petal-like folds and faces. Beautiful patina as well! This fine example resembles classic 1970s finds from the Ray Mine in Arizona and later 2000s finds from the Chino Mine of New Mexico. BETTER IN PERSON! We found this old specimen in our back drawers, and we had bought it directly from the Russian dealers in this material at the time - near 20 years ago.
