Spinel octahedrons w/ Phlogopite (both fluorescent)

Rich rose-red spinel octahedrons are aesthetically stacked on this showy and excellent miniature from finds around 2000 at this less well-known Tanzanian locale. The rich color saturation is complimented by the juicy translucent luster and slight pitting of the crystal faces. The large octo at the crest is 2.4 cm long and is doubly terminated. Rich cherry-red fluorescence accented with a bit of platy fluorescent phlogopite!
