Spinel (Nowakowski Coll.)

Item Description

A sharp, highly lustrous, jet-black spinel octahedron from this less well-known locale. A couple of bruised corners are noted, but are certainly only modest detractions. The dinged and contacted back are out of sight in the primary display views. Crystals of this size and quality are rare from here and this is a fine example from the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
