A 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.0 cm, gemmy, pretty lavender-pink, spinel octahedron is aesthetically atop the starkly contrasting blocky snow-white marble on this excellent small cabinet from Mogok. The crystal has silky luster and very interesting facial features. Matrix specimens of this color varietal, gemminess and sharp crystal form are RARE from Mogok and this is a good one. Modest cherry-red fluorescence. Valued at $1500 for rarity and high quality.
