These are some of the best Spinel crystals in the modern era of mineral collecting. The excellent crystal form and beautiful color make them incredibly desirable for fans of gem minerals. This piece is a superb quality, very sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, gorgeous pinkish-lavender colored octahedral crystal group, free of matrix. The piece is in superb condition all around, save the base where it detached from the pocket wall.
