Item Description
This is a cherry red, classic Burma spinel, with gorgeous saturated color. It is about 6 carats, and is a complete single crystal, all around a floater. It has slightly rounded edges, which is actually interesting and typical for this location where they are either sharp, or complexly and naturally grown with rounded edges and patterns within the surface - both being beautiful. You can see the slight surface subtleties and growth hillocks, quite easily, here, and yet it is also gemmy inside and there is no obstruction to view it. When backlit, it glows!
