Over the last 20 years, the various marble gem tracts around Luc Yen have produced some impressive Spinel crystals. These are easily some of the largest individual Spinel crystals to come out of any locality. Their value is increased even more by the fact that the crystals are found on matrix, which is not terribly common for Spinel. This pieces hosts beautiful, lustrous, translucent octahedral crystals of Spinel, with the largest group measuring up to 2.7 cm sitting on white-grey marble matrix with associated orange Chondrodite and an unknown green colored mineral (Pargasite, Fluoro-cannilloite, or Edenite?). The color of the Spinel crystals is a lovely pinkish purple hue. Priced at $950 in the inventory.
