The Tunduru District of Tanzania has recently produced some attractive and colorful Spinel gems. This gem has a really eye-catching brilliant reddish-pinkish color in sunlight, and more of a pinkish-purple color in halogen lighting. The stone is very very slightly included and has a "Quantum Concave Round" cut.
