Spinel is another gem that comes in a great range of colors. Most people are familiar with the Ruby Spinels, but a large percentage of Spinels out there are not red. This is a beautiful blue Spinel stone. It is an attractive gem with a rich deep blue color which is more rare in Spinel than most other shades. The gem is virtually eye clean and has an "Oval Brilliant" cut. This is a good quality Spinel with dark color. The stone needs a decent amount of light for the blue color to shine through, but it's there. The high retail price on this gem is approximately $244.
