Item Description

Recently, the various gem tracts around Luc Yen have produced some impressive Spinel crystals. The biggest crystals are easily some of the largest individual Spinels to come out of any locality. This specimen features a few sharp, semi-lustrous, translucent, red-pink color octahedra forming a decent thumbnail specimen. A small amount of edge wear keeps the piece from being 100% perfect, but still an attractive piece. This locality has the potential to produce some SUPERB Spinels, and if they on the larger size, they will set a new standard for the species.
