Spinel is another gem that comes in a great range of colors. Most people are familiar with the Ruby Spinels, but a large percentage of Spinels out there are not red. This stone is an attractive, VVS, smoky color, "Roval Step" cut gemstone. The stone is very attractive for a purple Spinel, and almost resembles what some dealers call "Titanium Spinel". Due to the political upheaval in southeast, it appears that these stones will soon be very very hard to come across and the days of the good Spinels may be dwindling.
