Spinel gems can be found in a great range of colors. Unlike other stones where different colors invoke different names, Spinel is Spinel, regardless of the color. Most people are familiar with the Ruby Spinels, but a large percentage of Spinels out there are not red. This is a beautiful, little bright pink Spinel stone from Tanzania. The gem is nearly eye clean, with a "Heart Brilliant" cut. This is a good quality Spinel with lively color, despite the smaller size.
