Item Description

This specimen is a group of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, beautiful honey-gold color modified crystals of Sphalerite with associated Quartz. The largest crystal measures up to 2.0 cm across. When these crystals are backlit, the color they exhibit is wonderful, and truly doesn't look quite like any other mine in the world, especially considering it's a transparent sulfide! There aren't many localities producing gem quality Sphalerite these days, and these specimens from Rucheng are becoming more and more difficult to find.
