Item Description

The various ore bodies in Peru have produced some of the finest crystallized examples of various common sulfides in the world. These specimens were all the rage a few decades ago, and should still be appreciated by collectors despite their drop in in popularity. This attractive display specimen features, "Spinel" twinned crystals of jet black Sphalerite with sharp, lustrous, smooth faces which are the host for fine quality, lustrous, gemmy, white to colorless Quartz crystals. The piece has almost no visible damage, and looks better in person, so don't pass this one up if you collect sulfides or association pieces.
