Item Description
Trepča is famous for its superb sulfides and associated minerals, and the renowned Stari Trg Mine is the most famous mine in the complex. This famed locale has produced some amazing display / association specimens for decades, and this piece hosts a group of fine quality, rather lustrous, razor-sharp, jet-black crystals of Sphalerite with individual crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm, associated with a few gem quality, colorless prismatic Quartz crystals measuring up to 3.3 cm long. No major damage I can find on the display side, and the contrast of the black and white/colorless minerals together creates a very eye-catching specimen.
