Item Description
A notably interesting specimen of Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite with an interesting intergrown black and gold mix of colors sitting on well-crystallized Quartz matrix. Overall, the piece is in great shape and the main crystal measures 2.0 cm across. Rarely does one encounter such impressive and unique crystallization of Sphalerite combined with Chalcopyrite from any world locality, and these are certainly some of the finest pieces out there for what they are. Very showy and beautiful for a couple of common sulfides. From the collection of Wouter Van Tichelen.
