Item Description

A showy and exellent large combination from this famous locale. A 4.8 cm, bladed barite ball and a 2.3 cm, light amber calcite crystal are jauntily set on the sculptural matrix of lustrous, sharp, rubyjack sphalerite crystals. The partially transluent sphalerites glow with striking cherry-red to orange/brown color under bright light. The bit of scuffing to the barite ball is a modest detraction. Classic material from the Bob Trimingham Collection and obtained in 1987.
