Item Description

Splendent, sharp, jet-black, twinned sphalerite variety marmatite (Fe-rich) crystals form a showy and excellent specimen from this very obscure Mexican locale. A bit of calcite on one end is a nice accent. Reforma is in Coahuila, not Chihuahua. I saw specimens like this in South Texas in the late 1980s from a "can't say locale", shown to me by Americans (Karl Warning). RARE material. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased from Kristalle in 1986..
