Item Description

A showy and fine quality display specimen of this beautiful material from the Huarón District in Peru featuring group of very sharp, well-formed, twinned Spinel crystals (the largest individual crystal meaures 2.2 cm) sitting atop dozens of brilliant smaller jet-black Sphalerites, and associated with prismatic, colorless Quartz crystals measuring up to 2.0 cm, plus cubic metallic pale golden colored Pyrite. No major damage, and the piece sits beautifully on its own without the aid of a base or clay, and can be displayed from multiple angles.
