Item Description
A really cool and association specimen from the Stari Trg Mine in the Trepca Complex in Kosovo featuring several "Spinel"-twinned crystals of sharp, lustrous, jet-black Sphalerite measuring up to 2.2 cm across, which are associated with transparent white Quartz crystals and rhombic reddish-brown colored Dolomite. There are a few rough spots, so the piece is not completely pristine, but still showy and attractive with the strong contrast of the Sphalerites against the Quartz/Dolomite.
