Item Description
A very rarely seen specimen from the Dongxiang Cu-polymetallic Deposit in China featuring sharp, well-formed, deep honey colored twinned crystals of Sphalerite measuring up to 1.2 cm across, associated with dark grey-black crystals of Bornite, sitting a layer of little Quartz crystals on matrix. Tiny iridescent brass colored crystals of Chalcopyrite and soft golden metallic Pyrite crystals can be seen under magnification. No major damage, and the Sphalerites have good internal gemminess when backlit.
