Item Description

Mineral specimens are rare from this obscure sulfide mine in the Yukon. Integrown, moderately lustrous, dark metallic-gray, twinned sphalerite crystals form a showy and excellent miniature. Ex Ian Nicklin Collection. He is now a curator at the Royal Ontario Museum. This is a superb and rare specimen of sphalerite from a locale you would normally never see for sale.
