Item Description

A beautiful display piece from this famous locality. This small cabinet specimen features good sized, excellent, rather lustrous, sharp, well-formed, jet-black crystals (some of which have formed "Spinel"-twins), with associated, gemmy, white/colorless, compressed groups of rhombic Calcite, free of matrix. The largest Sphalerite crystal measures 1.8 cm. The front of the piece is in good shape, but it's contacted on the back where it was separated from the pocket wall. Classic material from Trepča!
