Item Description

An eye-catching specimen of Sphalerite from Trepča specimen featuring good sized, excellent, rather lustrous, sharp, well-formed, jet-black crystals (some of which have formed "Spinel"-twins), free of matrix. The largest crystal measures 3.2 cm. The front of the piece is in good shape, but it's contacted on the back where it was separated from the pocket wall.
