Item Description

Elmwood is only known for producing a handful of species, but the best pieces are among the finest in the world for what they are. Here we have a wonderful small cabinet specimen featuring beautifully crystallized multi-terminated, lustrous, semi-metallic, compound crystals of deep reddish-brown Sphalerite associated with minor Quartz. A beautiful crystallized group of the well-known "Ruby Jack" from Elmwood. Great condition all the way around. It is a great display Sphalerite specimen from this world famous locality. Valued at $800. The pieces comes to us from the Mark Kielbaso collection, and there was a note with the specimen that states it was found in 1985 at the 20-78 #5 portion of the mine.
