Item Description

Mineral specimens are very uncommon from this less well-known Ohio carbonate quarry and sphalerite specimens are RARE. Gemmy, highly lustrous, orange-brown sphalerite twins to 1.4 cm are attractively set in a vug in the limestone matrix. In excellent shape, with only a few bruised or contacted crystals. A must for the species or locality collector. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
