Item Description

A dramatically sculptural and impressive large combination from the famous San Antonio Mine at Santa Eulalia. A striking cluster of water-clear quartz points, to about 4.0 cm, is fantastically preferentially coated with small bone-white dogtooth calcite crystals. The quartz and calcite crystals are artistically set on the imposing contrasting matrix of lustrous, jet-black twinned sphalerite crystals accented with a bright brassy metallic, striated pyrite crystal. The dominating large sphalerite is 6.0 cm across. The bit of noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this very showy and excellent large combination. Pink calcite fluorescence. A choice and UNCOMMON in this style large combination from the locale. Valued at $650.
